What kind of work do you do?

Everything. Pretty much: Routine cleanings, exams, x-rays, fillings, crowns, extractions, complete and partial dentures. Plus, we specialize in cosmetic dentistry: whitening, Invisalign, veneers, you name it.

What do you charge?

We’re not the cheapest, we’re not the most expensive (we think we’re in the dental sweet spot of highest quality that doesn't cost an arm and a leg).

What's your cancellation policy?

Can’t make it to your appointment? That’s fine! Please give us 48 hours advance notice. A $100 late cancellation/ rescheduling fee will be incurred if less than 2 Business Day notice is given for your preventative appointment.

How does dental insurance work?

Great question. Insurance companies determine how much they will reimburse for every service -- usually 50 - 90% of the cost -- and every practice sets their own prices. If you're curious about what your out-of-pocket expenses will be, we're always happy to contact your insurance to help you find out.

Do you accept my insurance?

If you've got a PPO plan from Aetna, Blu Cross Blue shield, Carrington, Cigna, Delta Dental, or MetLife, we've got you covered.

What are my options if I don't have insurance?

In an effort to serve you in a new and different way, our office has created our Blu + plan. This is a discount dental program, not a dental insurance. This program is offered to our patients who do not have dental coverage.

Why Studio Blu?

Studio Blu is the name we chose instead of something such as “clinic” or “practice.” Our studio is a modern, beautiful space more like a day spa than your typical dental practice. Why the Blu in the name? Our oldest daughter had a fondness for the Movie Rio in which the main character is named Blu and what better way to keep us smiling than to have a constant reminder of her while we seek to make your dental experiance better.

Why Do you Require a credit card for payment?

Full payment is due at the time of service. We require a credit card for booking because it helps ensure the safest possible visit. No cash is kept at the studio so you can earn those frequent flyer miles on your favorite card when you pay for exceptional dental care. We think it’s a win win. Occasionally insurance will require that the patient pays a larger portion of there care than originally anticipated in these cases we will contact you for the remaining balance. Any UNPAID BALANCE 30 days past due date will be subject to a monthly interest of 1.0% (APR 12%)

What WHITENING PRODUCT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

We have seen great results in patients who use Opalescence tooth whiting systems.

What TOOTH BRUSH DO YOU RECOMMEND?

We have seen great results in patients who use Sonicare tooth brushes.
